The Gaasperplas can be found in the Southeast of Amsterdam. You can easily cycle to this place, but for the lazy ones among us this spot can also be easily reached by metro. The Gaasperplas is not equipped with catering facilities, so when you visit this lake, remember to bring your own food and drink.
Marineterrein
The area behind the Scheepsvaartmuseum is not just a naval base. On the contrary: for example, there is a real brewery (Homeland) and you can swim there. The Ouderkerkerplas can be found in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, where you can relax on one of the two sandy beaches that can be found here.
