It is not always easy to find a free spot for your camper or mobile home on a regular campsite, especially not during the high season. Amsterdam City Camp wants to solve this problem for you. Open the whole year round, Amsterdam City Camp is a so called camper-camping that can place up to 50 campers, and putting up a tent is not allowed. The site is completely fenced and there is 24/7 camera security and night surveillance.
NDSM shipyard
You’ll find Amsterdam City Camp right next to the old NDSM shipyard in the north of Amsterdam. This old wharf is no longer used for the shipping industry, but instead houses tons of small creative company’s and is the host of several cool festivals and second-hand markets. The campsite is located at the river IJ and offers a beautiful view of the city, both day and night. A free ferry brings you to the city center in ten minutes, making Amsterdam City Camp an ideal starting point to explore the whole of Amsterdam. Bikes are allowed on the ferry, so do bring them with you to Amsterdam!
