But there has never been such a selfie museum as Youseum. The interactive museum opened on 1 November 2019 and is a nice place to go to when you are in Amsterdam.
Everything is about YOU
In the Youseum everything, really everything, is about YOU. Literally. Your face is used throughout the museum and you go on an interactive and digital tour. It is also about a deeper layer: because if it always has to be about the number of likes, how does that affect your offline life? In addition to the ‘normal’ selfies, you can also choose to have your picture taken with a beach littered with waste, to draw attention to plastic waste.
