Ice skating rink in Amsterdam
Good news for everyone who also likes the ice skating… From 16 November until 2 February ICE Amsterdam is open again. This means there will be an ice skating rank right on the Museumplein (Museum square).
Ice skating rink on Museumplein
From 16 November until 2 February, 2020, you can skate everyday on the ice skating rink on Museumplein. The ice rink is also open on both Christmas and New Year’s Eve! Take your skates with you or simply rent them. It is definitly a must-visit if you are in Amsterdam during this period, because now that the days are getting shorter and darker, the winter cosiness is bursting in Amsterdam.

You can already buy a ticket for the skating rink for € 6. Entrance skating rink incl. Skate rental for 2 hour is €12.

Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
November 28: open until 4:30 PM
24 December: open until 5.00 PM
December 31: open until 01.00 AM

January 24: open until 5:00 PM
Christmas market ice village
In the meantime, the Christmas market at the ice rink on Museumplein has also become a standard feature. This year ICE Village Christmas Market can be found next to the ice rink from December 13 to December 26. Brave the cold and warm yourself up at one of the fire pits. Get winter snacks and mulled wine from the stalls. Browse the stalls that sell anything and everything and really get into the Christmas mood! The Christmas market is free to visit.
