This event is especially for kids! On November 17, 2019, so called “Sinterklaas” and his “Pieten” set foot on Amsterdam’s shore again. Every year they set foot in Amsterdam in November. With almost 400,000 children on the side, a fantastic entry on the Amstel with hundreds of boats and an entry on horseback that becomes more fun, more festive and more beautiful every year. The procession of floats is one kilometer long and therefore the largest Sinterklaas entry in the country. Sinterklaas fun then continues daily until the official Sinterklaas evening on December 5.
